What is Reiki?

Reiki is a system of hands-on energy healing. It was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. However, hands-on healing in general is considered more ancient than that. Reiki is a system of healing where the practitioner opens up to channel universal healing energy to the client. The healing that takes place can include physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Reiki for Animals

Reiki works to heal on multiple levels of a being: physical, emotional, and spiritual even. It functions the same in pets as it does humans. In fact, it is an ideal therapy for animals, as it is a non-invasive, gentle, stress-free modality. It allows the animal to choose its own level of participation with the healing, and doesn't require direct physical contact to be effective.

Often reported benefits of a reiki session include a deep sense of relaxation, relief from physical or emotional pain, better sleep, and relief from stress.
Reiki serves as a great compliment to veterinary treatment and can help relieve some negative side-effects of medication. It is also ideal to use both before and after surgery.

Please note that although miracle healings do happen, I cannot foresee them, nor can I promise them. I always pray for the highest and greatest good as a result from the healing, and I trust that whatever happens is in line with this. It is important to remember that the healing process is different for everyone.

I also offer a mix of animal communication and reiki:
Total 60 minutes (half hour of each)- $145
Total 90 minutes (hour of ac and half hour reiki) - $190
